Captains Thomas and Christina Taylor
Corps Officers
Thomas and Christina arrived in Honolulu, HI in January 1996. They became officers (pastors) in The Salvation Army in 1999 and were appointed to the Hawaiian Island of Maui. They were assigned as Corps Officers for the Kahului Corps with Thomas as the Island Coordinator for the Maui Salvation Army. In 2002, Thomas and Christina also became the Corps Officers for the Lahaina Outpost. In 2004 additional officers were assigned to the Kahului Corps, Lahaina Outpost, and the Molokai Outpost with Thomas and Christina as the Maui County Administrators.
In June 2007, Thomas and Christina were assigned as the Corps Officers for the Guam Corps with Thomas also assigned as the Micronesian Islands Coordinator overseeing the Administration and ministry on the Islands of Chuuk and Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. Additionally Capt. Taylor was responsible for the Administrative oversight of the Saipan Citadel Corps on the Island of Saipan.
Thomas and Christina have been married for 35 years. They have traveled around the world. Some of their overseas assignments include Thailand, Viet Nam, South Korea, Germany and Panama. They have 4 children, 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. In their spare time, they like to scuba dive.
