Lieutenants Jeremy and Kristina Mockabee
Corps Officers

Lieutenants Jeremy and Kristina Mockabee were commissioned as Salvation Army Officers in 2013 as part of the Proclaimers of the Resurrection session. While in training Jeremy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Practical Ministries and Kristina received her Associates Degree in Practical Ministries. Kristina is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree from Trevecca University.

Jeremy and Kristina have an amazing family with three children. Morgan Skye Mockabee is 8 years old and is enthusiastic about horses. Aubrey Winter Mockabee is 6 years old and loves ice skating. Their newest addition is Maverick Dane Mockabee who is 6 months old and loves to suck his thumb.

Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home seeks to reach out to newly homeless families or those at risk of imminent homelessness from Gwinnett, Clayton & Fayette Counties and lead them not only to stable housing and self-sufficiency, but also fully impact their lives in a positive and caring manner.

The vision of The Salvation Army’s Home Sweet Home program is to meet the needs of homeless families by providing an immediate avenue back to independent living. This will be accomplished by providing in-home case management in a holistic manner that serves to educate and empower families, to help them regain ties to the community, and sustain permanent, stable housing. Financial Emergency Services

Each day throughout Metro Atlanta, The Salvation Army Financial Emergency Services Centers provide emergency and life-sustaining assistance with food, clothing, rent/mortgage, utilities, school supplies and furniture to individuals and families facing a financial crisis. If you are currently facing a personal or financial crisis, you may schedule and appointment at your nearest Salvation Army Financial Emergency Services Center or call 211 for a list of other Metro Area resources.

Gwinnett Conservatory for the Performing Arts

The Gwinnett Conservatory for the Performing Arts introduces young people to music, drama and singing. The Salvation Army, long noted for its fine musicians that excel in brass, piano and voice bring their expertise to this venture. The Conservatory has classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
