Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Metro Atlanta Area Command Headquarters is located at:
1000 Center Place NW
Norcross, GA 30093
(404) 486-2900
Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Since 1890, The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command has had long-term experience in understanding the barriers that prevent economically-disadvantaged populations from meeting their basic needs.

Many of the people we serve are on fixed incomes, earning minimum wage, supporting multiple family members on a single wage or simply not working at all. In particular, our nine Financial Emergency Service Centers, Red Shield Services and Transitional Housing Shelter, Residential Camping program, and three Boys and Girls Clubs serve people primarily living in poverty.

The Salvation Army continues to Do the Most Good throughout Atlanta through our comprehensive and effective assistance programs. Learn more about our Locations and Services.
